Terra cotta sewer pipe

An old terra cotta sewer pipe decayed in one of our properties that required us to dig up the entire court yard and replace the pipe. Luckily the length of pipe below the concrete garage floor was in good shape, or we would have had to jackhammer out the garage floor too.

    Did you get any water on the surface? How did you know that you had a busted pipe is I want to know?
